To conduct and support analysis for marketing strategy related studies and planning
(feasibility study, new products and services, customer/market analysis and/or flight scheduling)
with the objective to identify revenue and growth opportunities; enhance customer experience,
promote FedEx brand and effectively measure business performance. |
Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance/Economics, Engineering or related
analytical fields (MBA preferred)
2. Experience: More than 3 years’ experiences in Marketing with proven results in research and
quantitative business analysis, new product & service development, project management or
marketing communications
3. Technical Expertise:
· Native Korean
· Quantitative and data analysis skills with advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and
database applications for PC or client-server systems
· Marketing theories and techniques
· Basic knowledge of finance and/or economics
· Must possess knowledge/experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Vendor management experience
- Tactical implementation capabilities
- Knowledge of computer data manipulation techniques |

1. SERVICE & PRODUCT MANAGEMENT Coordinate, recommend and conduct marketing
researches in the district level to measure FedEx service against competition and identify
improvement priorities; provide management with quantitative information for research result,
and suggestion on result interpretation; collaborate with APAC Marketing & Revenue
Management to execute district level service/product strategies; in order to ensure continuing
improvements in customer satisfaction and competitive positioning that lead to profitable growth.
2. CUSTOMER & MARKET KNOWLEDGE BUILDING Acquire broad market knowledge and
understanding through marketing intelligence, segment analysis, competitive monitoring and
direct experience of customer touch points including Sales, Customer Service, Invoicing and
web channels; conduct required quantitative/qualitative analysis and/or assessment of market
and competitive information regarding revenue/service strategy; assist management in producing
analysis to Sr./Executive Management for developing/supporting regional/district level strategic
decisions in order to support the development & execution of appropriate marketing strategies
which leads to profitable growth.
3. SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT Conduct feasibility analysis of new solutions, electronic commerce
or internet development as directed by management based on competitive issues and
market conditions; assist in determining effective strategies and tactics; analyze the required
marketing mixes; facilitate and manage the launch process of solutions, in order to implement
timely and smooth launch of new solutions or enhancements.
4. STRATEGIC MARKET ANALYSIS Conduct required quantitative analysis and/or assessment of
market and competitive information regarding revenue/service strategy as directed by anagement;
assist regional/corporate marketing departments with analytical support in the areas of customer
segmentation and selection analysis, campaign tracking, forecasting, pricing and ad-hoc business
reporting and analysis; perform basic and high level qualitative competitive analysis in order to
identify opportunities, ensure strategy implementation, and effectively measure business
performance. |
